With those words, read aloud by Georgia Bulldog lady basketball player Megan Darrah and Garrett Ledwick of East Coweta Middle School, the 2007 Coweta County Special Olympic Spring Games began.
Competitors from each of the county's schools, as well as students from surrounding counties, turned Newnan High School's Drake Stadium into a sea of yellow — the color of the event's T-shirt.
